Cottonwood Lake is an easy trip in Jeep. 4 Miles long. Mineral Basin is another easy trip of about 8 miles. Weston Basin is 21 miles long and relatively easy trip. We can drive to Leadville to look around and visit some museums if we like. We can also check out the campgrounds at Twin Lakes and Granite.
