Unlike Fishermen's Wharf in San Francisco, there's no one to compete with you for a viewing spot. Some seals will swim up to you thinking you have food for them so you get to see them up close. It's fun watching then glide through water.

The Crescent City Harbor is a nice place to visit. To eat or just observe the fishing boats coming and going, sailboats, you have it all. The Battery Point Lighthouse and the seals are a bonus.
