Information |
The Fort Museum of the NWMP is dedicated to preserving the history of the NWMP and First Nations from the area. The Museum is proud to offer the only on-site NWMP Musical Ride in Canada. Visitors can go behind the scenes and participate in a Signature Experience called "Groom a Horse" program. Come visit us today! Plan to spend at least a couple hours walking through the museum and around The Fort. The displays are authentic and give you an insight into life in the 1800's. The atmosphere makes you feel like you are part of it. It's worth the money to see the NWMP Musical Ride and afterwards I was able to visit the stables, get to know the horses, and some of the riders. Make sure to take your camera and maybe an extra battery! I will definitely visit again. Highly recommended!!
