Information |
This is a working town from the era next to a Mounted Patrol barracks. It's as authentic as these types of attractions can be. They have bread and sandwiches for sale in the bakery and tin items for sale at the tinsmith, with other similar shops. They also have a nice gift shop. The houses that are open have period furnishings and there is lots of informational displays. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit. Be aware though that it requires a lot of walking Awesome place to spend at least a few hours. We ended up spending 4 hours and eating lunch there. Well preserved historical site. Turned out to be more fun and engaging than we expected. Worth the stop and glad we did.
