Lots to do today but only about an hour drive. So we can leave early and find things to do all day.

Chapmans Gem Mineral Shop & Museum will be a great place to visit and pick up some rocks for Ellie and Ryan.

Sequoia Park Garden

Visit Humboldt Redwoods State Park nearby. Drive through.

ANCIENT REDWOODS RV PARK is located one mile north of Redcrest, California, on the world famous AVENUE OF THE GIANTS. The park sits amongst the tallest and oldest living things in the world, near Founders grove, Rockefeller Forest and Humboldt Redwoods State Park Visitor Center. Stop in Eureka and walk around. Be sure to walk through Sequoia Park Garden downtown.

There is a Walmart in Eureka if we need supplies.

Humboldt Bay National Wildlife Refuge and visitors center.

Patricks Point State Park is a great place to walk the beach and search for agates. There also may be seals, sea lions and even some whales there. Turn off Hwy. 101 and take the scenic route to the park a few miles before the main entrance.
