We need to get gas before leaving Arizona because it is so much higher in California. There are Flying J's in Eloy and Quartzsite. Check Gas Buddy. The prices may be cheaper south of Phoenix.

We should be able to go around Phoenix and drive through Sonoran Desert National Monument to Gila Bend. Then take Hwy 85 north back to I-10.
