The Olympic Coast national park.

We reached a parking lot, and in looking at the bulletin board we found there to be a 1/2 mile loop trail. But, one needs a Recreation Pass to park in the parking lot. The collection box was broken, and there is a sign directing you to the ranger station, which we learned was closed. We decided to put our Lifetime Member Forest Service pass on our dash, and we took off.

We were not wearing hiking boots, and we didn't find this to be a problem. The trail is very easy, and it is beautiful.
