Information |
6.4 miles from its junction with Hwy 101 This is a great waterfall to visit if you are in Quinault and don't want to hike. Just pull over on the side of the road and there it is! The waterfall was larger than I had anticipated and the mossy green rocks at the bottom added to the beauty of the falls. After driving through lots of lush forest around the driving loop, this was worth a break to see and hear the water rushing through the rocks and falling through fallen timbers and more craggy rocks. One of two falls along the loop that are worth seeing. Merriman Falls is easy to miss as there is no identifying sign. It's a nice spot along the side of the road. Park in one of the turnouts. |
