One day ride to Cherokee. Get on BRP at Balsam and follow it to Cherokee. We can go through the GSMNP if we want today. We can also come back through Maggie Valley.

BRP Balsam to Cherokee is Milepost 440-469.

We can drive up the BRP from Balsam to Hwy 80 then turn around or take the much quicker route back to Waynesville is we wish. Milepost 440-345. Quick route is about 185 miles round trip.

Get gas near the campground on the Interstate.

384.7 - Get on Blue Ridge Parkway on Hwy 74.

382.0 - Folk Art Center.

364.5 - Craggy Gardens Visitors Center. If we can park. Lot is not huge.
